“It was particularly challenging because she had a very narrow beam so there wasn’t a lot of room. Scott's group had to figure out how to make everything fit and still have easy access for repairs and maintenance. We were glad to have them on our team for this restoration. It was a very effective collaboration.” said Steve Ballentine, owner of Ballentine’s Boat Shop.
The project took over four years to complete. The result was so exceptional that Ariel II was featured in the Wooden Boat Calendar in 2006.
